Cork's Gavin Dunne has had one of Ireland's biggest songs of 2021. It's surpassed 38 million streams, but you don't see him on TV or hear his music on the radio, and he's fine with that. Mostly.
What a lovely interview! I am very happy that Gav got some local coverage. It's getting close to around 10 years that I've listened to his music. Some of the time it made up most of what I was listening to. Gav really knows how to let you escape and have a pleasant respite from, well, everything.
It is a joy to be around at the same time as Gavin and I feel like he played a major role in me forming my personality. I am 20 now but I was around 12 when I started listening to Miracle of Sound and his influence on me during my teenage years helped me step away from being angry and edgy all the time and I am happy for that.
