NTA don’t listen to anyone… they go ahead with bus stop changes , even though the people don’t want it and don’t feel safe at new stop:: for example the Kinsale bus always operated to and from Parnell Place which is a safe covered area with toilet facilities, Security staff and bus eireann staff who are there to help people. For over a year now the departure stop has been moved to Clontarf st.. just outside O Brien office supplies ( which can totally block the shop with the amount of people waiting for a bus…But most importantly the elderly people of Kinsale are frightened to wait over there due to many reasons, ie constantly been asked for spare change or cigarettes… plus it a dangerous junction to cross with no cover from bad weather, a lot of people tell me there fears and said they gave written to the NTA and got no reply…. There should be a survey done and ask the people about the stop…. The Tourists… people that work in the airport and the people of Kinsale don’t feel safe there plus gets soaked from the rain on a regular basis , the stop is on a busy corner plus it blocks a busy cycle lane when it’s there picking up people and and yet there’s Parnell Place just a 100 yards away… why was it taken out off Parnell Place, all l hear is the NTA want it and yet the people don’t as it not a safe stop …. Just an example of how they can get it wrong ( NTA) but they they have improved other services for the better But definitely got the Kinsale stop move WRONG! Paul
