Tailor YOUR Tripe!
Are you getting too much T+D in your inbox? A fan of the Long Reads but not digging the Our Cork series? You can tailor what you get delivered. Here's how:
Dear Tripe+Drisheen readers,
Just a short note to let you know about a Substack function that might save your sanity….
As our subscriptions rise and we are able to invest more and more of our time in Tripe + Drisheen, we now have articles going out at least three, but frequently four, days per week.
But, rest assured, we are not trying to spam you! If your inbox is creaking under the weight of unread Tripe + Drisheen stories, did you know you can tailor what parts of T + D you get delivered?
We have now organised T+D under tabs depending on content:
Thursday’s Long Read (in-depth and varied long-form articles, published 7.30pm Thursdays)
The Friday View (a weekly round-up of community news, events, arts etc, out at 8am Friday)
Our Cork 2040 (join our guest writers for a broad range of voices on the future of Cork, out at 1pm Sunday)
News (we drop it when we got it)
Historically speaking our new occasional series from in-house historian James Furey, but this one is subscriber-only!
T+D updates for our own housekeeping announcements….like this one!
YOU CAN CHOOSE WHICH PIECES YOU GET DELIVERED.
Simply go to the website, scroll to the bottom and select “My Account” -
And you’ll see that you can select or deselect the tabs you’re interested in getting by email, under “email notifications.” BEWARE: If you unselect all, you’ll be automatically unsubscribed!
We hope this helps you control what you read and when you read it.
Finally, we’ve been bowled over by the response to Tripe + Drisheen since we launched our reader-supported subscription model. We know not everyone is flush for cash right now, so if you’re enjoying what we do but you can’t afford to subscribe and you’re staying on the free mailing list, that’s quite alright with us. Quality journalism should be for everyone.
But another way you can really help us is by helping to spread the word! We’re small, but ambitious, and we want everyone in Cork to know what we do. Clicking share and letting your friends know about Tripe + Drisheen will be very helpful.
With much love and appreciation,
JJ + Ellie
